As expected, Apple has just announced that iOS 8.1 will be available for free download this Monday, October 20th. The update enables Apple Pay, continuity support and numerous other improvements.
One of those improvements is reverting back to the original camera roll, since many complained about the new UI in iOS 8. The “Camera Roll” that we all knew and loved simply went missing after updating to iOS 8 and many thought some of their pirctures were gone forever. However that isn’t true, all of your on-device photos are still saved, they’re just simply spread out in different locations, such as Collections and Moments, the Recently Added and Recently Deleted albums.
Make sure to upgrade to iOS 8.1 on Monday (and try not to do it OTA)!
