A few days ago, we reported about an app called “Siri for Android,” an application on Google’s Android Market that claimed to be Siri but was clearly just another fake.
Now it seems that Google has taken action on the app, as it has been removed from the Android Market. The developer, named “Official App,” has also had its only other app, a fake Pinterest app that only linked to the website, pulled from the Market.
It’s great to see Google taking action on fake and deceiving applications, let’s hope they continue to do so.
