Originally, AT&T charged it’s customers $18 for an upgrade fee, which i thought the $18 was a little bit expensive, but now they have up’d the price to $36. Here is their reason why.
Because the overall costs associated with upgrading to a new device have increased, effective Sunday, February 12, 2012, AT&T will change its upgrade fee from $18 to $36.
So, AT&T’s new fee will begin tomorrow, Sunday, February 12th. If you were planning on getting your valentine a new phone for her/his special day, I would suggest doing it today.
