Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to jailbreak your iOS 7.1.1 iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch using Pangu version 1.1.0. The tutorial is shown using a Mac but it should be very similar on Windows.
Notes before starting:
• Restore your device via iTunes & NOT OTA
• Backup device via iTunes or iCloud
• Diasble passcode
Let’s get started!
Video tutorial:
Step 1: Download Pangu v1.1.0 for Mac or Windows here.
Step 2: Plug in your device and double click the Pangu program to open it (Sometimes you need to right-click and hit open for it to open properly).
Step 3: Once Pangu recognizes your device, click jailbreak.
Step 4: Go to Settings > General > Date & Time and disable the “Set Automatically” option. Then, set the date to June 2, 2014 or anything before then.
Step 5: Once Pangu prompts you to open the Pangu app icon on your home screen, tap the icon and click continue.
Step 6: The rest of the process is handled by Pangu and your device will reboot by itself. You should then see the Cydia icon on your home screen.
Congrats, you now have a jailbroken iDevice on iOS 7.1.1! If you run into any issues, make sure to leave a comment below and I’ll do my best to help you out.
